Trailer-Production Procedure
Please read through the procedure for creating your trailer. My goal is to create a great trailer at a reasonable price. In order to do this, I’ve designed the following procedure to help us produce a trailer with minimum need for additional costs to you.
You’ll need to pay for your trailer in advance. You have 24 hours to cancel your order. After that time is up, there is no refund, as I will begin working on some aspect of creating your trailer. If you have requested a rush on your trailer, the 24-hour cancellation-clock does not apply.
Unless you’ve chosen to provide music, as soon as I find the music I think will work, I’ll send you the link or an mp3 file. If you want a certain mood or tempo, let me know, and I’ll see what I can find. I’ll make two attempts to provide music that you like. After that, you’ll need to provide the music or pay $15 for my continued searching for music you like. (Note: Music for select periods of time in history and for certain cultures might need to be purchased by you.)

In case you want to search for music, royalty free music downloads are available at these sites. The music is either free or inexpensive. Be sure to check the terms of the attribution licenses. If the artist must be credited in some way, I'll need to know. I think it's good at least to include the name of the artist the music is by in the credit section of the video.

Every Stock Photo - on this site, your query will return available photos from 10 sites unless you select to view less than that. I tend towards their images from photoXpress. Supposedly all the images on everystock.com are free, but some sites offer free images on a trial basis. Others charge for the larger images or to use an image for commercial use, as in your trailer.
Unsplash gives away ten high-quality, high-resolution images every ten days. These images are free to use in any project.

You'll receive two drafts of your trailer. Read through the steps below for the procedure involved with each draft.
Draft One is a PDF file or an actual video containing images and their accompanying script. These images and script are your trailer's timeline. Each image and its script will represent one frame in your trailer. You’ll need to read through this draft and check it for any errors in spelling. You can submit changes to the wording of the script at this point. The first three script changes are free; thereafter, each change costs $5 to $10. You can also request that images be moved around or eliminated. There is a charge of $15 to change the font in which the script is rendered, as the font choice is agreed upon before this draft is created.
Because of the time involved in manipulating images and creating and synchronizing the images and script, there is a charge of $10 for each addition of a new image to your trailer’s timeline; this includes the addition of any new text that goes with the new image. This charge also applies if I have already manipulated a submitted image but not yet applied it to the timeline. There's no charge for me to delete an image, but the $10 fee will apply to a replacement image.
If I am purchasing your images, in most cases, you’ll need to include $3 for each additional image plus the $10 addition fee. You’ll also need to supply the additional script, if desired. For example, if you have paid the $20 for me to acquire 5 images and you decide you want to add one more image, generally, it will cost $3 for the image and $10 for adding it, along with any text, to the video’s timeline.
Please ensure that all script changes and any issues with spelling and any additions or deletions of images are taken care of at this stage. Once the images and script or the images and script and music are combined into the Draft Two video, there is a $25 flat fee plus a $5 or $10 charge per change. These fees will need to be paid before the changes are made.
Draft Two: Once you approve this first draft, and I incorporate everything into the timeline, you’ll receive the second draft in the form of a link to a standard-definition video. This copy is provided as an opportunity for you to make changes in the video before it is finalized. The fees outlined above apply to these changes. Exceptions to the requirement of this fee are changes to the transitions between frames. Up to three transitional changes are free; $15 as opposed to $25 applies when four or more transitional changes are requested.
I carefully match up motion clips for certain images in a trailer. If you don't want the selected clip, I'll remove it and just use the image. If you want me to search out a replacement clip, the charge for that service is $10 per new clip requested.
Allow up to 4 or 5 weeks for your trailer to be completed. In addition, if I need to locate all the images for your trailer, some additional days may be required. If you need your trailer sooner than indicated is, contact me to pay for rush-services. Whether or not I can accelerate the creation of your trailer will depend upon my workload at the time of your request. Rush services need to be requested at the time you order the trailer.
If you have any questions or special requests, email me, and I’ll get back to you.
Once you decide on which trailer-product you want and any additional features, send your detailed request to me via the Contact Form. I’ll send you a Paypal invoice for the price of the trailer, along with a list of what you'll need to provide. I look forward to working with you and thanks for visiting Book Trailer Services.
